Crispy Nut Cookies
Sometimes you crave something to go with your tea or coffee, but want it quick and easy: mix everything in one bowl, bake swiftly, and then sit back to enjoy 😊 Congratulations, you've found the right page with the perfect recipe! The cookies turn out crispy, nutty, and just the right amount of sweet. Trust me, you'll soon want to whip up another batch of dough. So let's get cooking 😉

Ingredients
- 50 g walnuts (or any nuts) (about 1.75 oz)
- 200 g flour (about 1.6 cups)
- 60 g sugar (about 1/4 cup)
- 100 g cold butter (about 7 tablespoons)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Chop the nuts in a blender into fine crumbs. Transfer them to a bowl where you'll mix the dough.

- Pour the sugar, half of the flour, and the cold butter cut into small pieces into the blender bowl. Blend everything into crumbs and mix with the nuts and the remaining flour. Stir the egg with salt until smooth, pour it into the dry mixture, and knead the dough.

- Shape the dough into a log. The thicker the log, the larger the cookies. If you want many small cookies, form a narrow log with a diameter of 3-4 cm (about 1.2-1.6 inches).

- Place the log in the freezer for 30 minutes to make it easier to slice. Cut into pieces 0.5 cm thick (about 0.2 inches). Place on a baking sheet at a slight distance from each other, as the cookies will expand a little during baking.

- Bake at 180°C (about 356°F) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

- Meanwhile, quickly brew some coffee, as the aroma during baking will be so enticing, you'll barely be able to wait 😉 Enjoy! 🤗
