Baked Apricots with Camembert

In July, as cherry season comes to a close, I find myself consisting 80% of apricots and peaches. And I don't regret a thing, just so you know! 😜 Of course, creating something delicious from them is a divine task, and that's exactly what we're going to do. Preparing this simple appetizer is quite easy, yet it's incredibly tasty. You can enjoy it with toast and coffee, or simply with a glass of chilled white wine. So, let's get cooking ☺️

Ingredients

  • 500g apricots (about 1.1 lbs)
  • 50g cheese (about 1.8 oz)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • walnuts

Instructions

  1. There's really nothing complicated about the preparation. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Cut the apricots in half and remove the pits. Place small pieces of cheese on top, sprinkle with chopped nuts, and drizzle lightly with honey.

  2. Bake until the cheese melts and the nuts become golden.

Just look at this little sun in the baking dish, it’s pure magic! 🥰 Instead of Camembert, you can use a cheese like Dorblu, and instead of walnuts, you can use almonds or hazelnuts. But I definitely recommend you try it; it's absolutely delicious 💛
